Those interested in the history of our ambulance service will be in for a treat as the NWAS museum will be open from the 10 - 16 September 2015 at Crosby Ambulance Station, Crosby Road, L22 0LA.
This ‘hands on’ display of equipment, vehicles, uniforms and literature spans from 1948 through to present day and will be open daily from 10.00am to 4.30pm.
From the presence of the basic first aid bag to working defibrillators from the 1980s, personal Paramedic kits and drug cases, you can follow the passage of time and working practices, which reflect in the ambulances we use today.
For more information please contact Glyn Brown on 07803 171801 or through NWAS e-mail

We have had some issues with the photo Album page in that the webpage lost its photos. We have started to rebuild it but it will take a few days to get all the old photos back on. Many thanks for your patience.
Updates

Tommy Patton kindly reminded us that updates to the site have been a bit slow but rest assured it is only that the Apple Mac had been commandeered for the daughters A level studies. Normal business is returning to normal and we have added some more faces and also an interesting link to a World in Action Series kindly provided by Graham Curry of Lancashire Ambulance Service.
